Join Lee Humphreys (Professor & Chair of Communication at Cornell University) for this this webinar. She will provide an overview of bariatric surgery options available through the NHS, including eligibility criteria, the surgical process, recovery, and long-term outcomes. It will cover the benefits and risks of weight loss surgery, as well as the importance of post-surgery lifestyle changes for sustained success.

Lee is a professor in the Department of Communication at Cornell. She study the social uses and effects of new communication technologies. She did her PhD at the Annenberg School for Communication at the University of Pennsylvania and taught for a year at the University of Wisconsin, Madison. She study mobile technology and social media from a sociological perspective. She is also the Director of Cornell’s Qualitative and Interpretive Research Institute.
