Dr Ally Jaffee MBChB, BSc, FRSA
Co-Founder
Dr Ally Jaffee is a London-based, multi-award-winning NHS Junior Doctor and is planning on specialising in Psychiatry.
Ally qualified from Bristol Medical School in 2022 and also holds a BSc degree in Medical Humanities & Creative Arts from Imperial College London. She is the author of 5 publications in leading Science Journals such as The Lancet and The BMJ.
Alongside her work at Nutritank, Keri runs her own private nutrition practice, where she consults a diverse range of clients—from athletes seeking performance nutrition support to women navigating hormonal health challenges. She has a special interest in sports nutrition and women’s health, including conditions such as PCOS, menopause, and fertility.
Keri is passionate about translating evidence-based nutrition into practical, no-nonsense advice. Whether through one-on-one consultations or engaging social media content, her goal is to make credible nutrition information accessible, relatable, and easy to implement.

Dr Iain Broadley MBBS, BSc
CEO & Co-Founder
Dr Iain Broadley is a multi-award-winning NHS trained Junior Doctor. Holds an MBChB (Bristol, 2020) and BSc degree in Biomedical Science (Sussex, 2015). Author of 5 publications in leading science journals such as The Lancet, The BMJ.
Whilst a medical student Iain co-founded Nutritank, a renowned nutrition and lifestyle medicine network, think tank and education provider. He has contributed to key policy-change work: getting a nutrition education clause (2.19) added to the 2019 NHS Long Term Plan and the creation of a gold-standard nutrition education curricula for medical students led by the AFN (Association For Nutrition).
Whilst a student at Bristol Iain contributed to the development of an innovative consultation protocol that teaches our future doctors how to have self-care discussions with patients incorporating diet and lifestyle, a first of its kind. Iain has appeared on TV alongside Jamie Oliver on Channel 4 and featured on numerous radio programmes and in-print publications discussing his work.
He also received a place on the NHS Clinical Entrepreneurship Program. Iain is guided by his life values of; Compassion, Connection, Excellence, Adventure and Family.

Joe Taylor
Chief Strategy Officer (CSO) and Freelance Charity Strategist
Joe is a charity strategist who has 18 years’ experience in the not-for-profit sector, including 13 as a CEO.
He was the founder of the award-winning charity The Wave Project which used non-clinical interventions to improve children’s mental health, working in partnership with the NHS and registered healthcare professionals.
He has a lifelong passion for improving outcomes for vulnerable people, and a strong belief in the importance of a healthy lifestyle in overcoming mental health issues.

Keri Lambooy is a Registered Dietitian who qualified from Stellenbosch University in South Africa in 2018. She is Nutritank’s Lead Social Media Manager and Content Creator, bringing a unique blend of clinical expertise and creative communication to the team.
He has a lifelong passion for improving outcomes for vulnerable people, and a strong belief in the importance of a healthy lifestyle in overcoming mental health issues.

Catherine Sim ANutr BSc (Hons)
Educational Coordinator
Catherine is a passionate health and wellbeing advocate with a First Class BSc in Nutrition from Queen Margaret University in Edinburgh. While not currently a practicing nutritionist, her deep-rooted interest in health continues to thrive through her work.
Catherine works as a veggie/vegan cook in Callander, Scotland, where she prepares wholesome, plant-based meals for large groups, including those interested in yoga, meditation, Reiki, and other spiritual practices.
In addition to her culinary role, she part-time manages the social media account for a fertility dietitian in Ireland, expanding her knowledge of the link between nutrition and fertility. Catherine also runs her own food-focused social media account, @justalittlepeckish, which is filled with plant-based recipes and culinary inspiration. Catherine’s professional experience spans working with small businesses in Edinburgh and Glasgow, including Sgaia Foods and Nuisance Drinks. During this time, she honed her social media and marketing skills while deepening her interest in the food and drinks industry.
Previously, Catherine volunteered with the Diverse Nutrition Association for over two years, where she educated students and healthcare professionals on navigating and working with diverse cultures. During her time at the association, Catherine was responsible for researching and designing public health nutrition content for various social media platforms. She also assisted in the smooth running of community-focused health events, such as cooking classes, and managed multiple social media accounts. Catherine worked closely with other nutrition education platforms to create engaging, on-brand content that promoted better health practices within diverse communities.

Rachel White BSc (Hons), MSc, PgCert, PgDip, RD
Lead Dietitian
Rachel is a registered dietitian who graduated in 2016 from Kings College London. She works part time in the NHS working as an oncology specialist dietitian, but has worked across a number of medical specialties including intensive care, surgery and respiratory. She also runs her own company Rachel White Nutrition providing sports nutrition advice to athletes.
Rachel joined Nutritank as Lead Dietitian in March 2021 to help promote evidence based nutrition for medics and support the wider team with this mission. She believes that increased nutrition training for Doctors and medical students will not only enhance the care provided to their patients but also improve collaborations with dietitians and registered nutritionists. Alice Elizabeth Benskin BSc (Hons), MSc (Personalised Nutrition), MSc (Psychology), AfN RNutr
Nutrition Education Lead / Senior Nutritionist
Alice Elizabeth Benskin is a registered nutritionist (AfN) with over a decade of experience across the food industry, nutrition education, research, and public health. She holds a BSc in Nutrition Science and an MSc in Personalised Nutrition, and recently completed an MSc in Psychology at the University of Wolverhampton. She is currently training to be an NHS dietitian.
Alice serves as Nutrition Education Lead and is also a Senior Nutritionist for Nutritank. Her main role is organising speakers for Nutritank’s medical nutrition education programme and also supporting with the creation of their lifestyle medicine courses. Alongside Nutritank’s lead dietitian Rachel White, she also supervises students from universities across the UK who come to do their healthcare placements. Outside of Nutritank, she works as a health coach for the NHS National Diabetes Prevention Programme, supporting individuals with type 2 diabetes prevention and tier 2 weight management. Her previous work has been across the food industry, agriculture, nutrition education, with an academic placement at the University of Oxford focused on neonatal nutrition and pain perception research at the John Radcliffe Hospital.
Committed to the intersection of mental health and nutrition, Alice has a particular interest in nutritional psychiatry and trauma-informed care. She is a peer reviewer for the BMJ Nutrition, Prevention & Health and has written for publications including The BMJ, Daily Telegraph, and Psychologies magazine.
Alice is an active advocate for social equity in nutrition. She founded Nutrition United, a global network bringing professionals together to collaborate regarding education, food poverty and nutritional inequalities. She is a trustee of the Ember Foundation, advocating for Afghan women and girls who are experiencing gender apartheid impacting their access to education and healthcare, and volunteers as Clinical Nutrition Lead for Mind Health for Medical Students and mentors emerging professionals in nutrition and dietetics.
Drawing from her personal experiences as a survivor of the A.C.E cult, Alice is passionate about supporting survivors of trauma through evidence-based lifestyle strategies including nutrition, movement, and stress management. She is a qualified trauma-informed yoga teacher, and has experience of working in voluntary mental health support roles with women affected by domestic abuse, spiritual abuse and coercive control.
Her goal is to empower individuals through personalised nutrition and lifestyle medicine interventions to improve their health, contribute to the growing field of nutritional psychiatry, and help create more inclusive pathways for women in science and healthcare.

Dr Jessica Frost

After graduating from Birmingham Medical School in 2019, I moved to Oxford where I now practice as a junior doctor and am currently part way through my GP training. I strongly believe medicine should be a holistic practice, and am passionate about educating others regarding the positive impact even small lifestyle changes can have on both mental and physical wellbeing.
As well as being a lifestyle medicine enthusiast, I also work regularly at my local hospice, and have an extended interest in Women’s Health, for which I have completed further training to achieve my Faculty of Sexual and Reproductive Healthcare Diploma (D-FSRH). In my spare time, I am a keen yogi, aspiring author and have a black belt in karate.

Luke Zollman Thomas

Luke Zollman Thomas is a 3rd year student of Psychology and Nutrition at Newcastle University. Currently on a professional placement year, he splits his time between 2 small social enterprises in Newcastle: ‘Nourish Food School’ – a cookery school aimed at positively shaping the way people from less advantaged backgrounds see, eat and experience food and ‘Men’s Pie Club’ – a community project set up to improve social connectedness among men.
Luke has been an active member of Nutritank since his first year at Newcastle, and was a guest host for their Men’s Health webinar series back in 2022.
Whilst still relatively new in the community food and health space, he is passionate about the potential this field has to change lives for the better. He puts great trust in his values: curiosity, joy, inspiration, and a strong belief that everyone makes the kindest choices (to themselves and others) when they feel supported to do so.
Aware of and alarmed at all the health and social challenges that face our world today, he is galvanised to join the movement working for a healthier and happier future.

Dr Rebecca Healey is an occupational health physician and registered nutritionist with an early career background in the corporate sector. She is a strong advocate for embedding lifestyle medicine at the heart of workforce wellbeing strategy.
Rebecca was inspired to study nutrition after recognising its pivotal role as a modifiable risk factor for many of the chronic diseases she saw as a resident doctor. She is passionate about improving nutrition education and awareness of lifestyle medicine principles for healthcare professionals.

Sarah Gray Registered Nutritionist (Australia), Registered Pharmacist

Sarah Gray is a trailblazer in health and wellness, combining her expertise as a registered pharmacist, nutritionist, and Global Executive MBA graduate to drive transformative change in healthcare.
Having spearheaded initiatives such as launching telehealth services and developing a world-first nutrition tracker, Sarah’s strategic and innovative leadership has positioned her at the forefront of health-focused products and services.
Sarah is a non-executive director with Moyne Health Services and the Western Region Football League, where she champions mental health, diversity, and inclusivity. She is also the Founder and Head Nutritionist at The Nutrition Pharmacist, providing holistic health solutions.

Professor Clare Wall RD, BSc, PhD

Professor Clare Wall is the Head of Department of Nutrition and Dietetics and Associate Dean Curriculum for the Faculty of Medical and Health Sciences at the University of Auckland.
Clare has over 4 decades of expertise in practice and education. Clare has had a major role in the leadership and development of undergraduate and postgraduate programmes in Nutrition and Dietetics
Clare also developed the nutrition curriculum within the Medical programme and contributes expertise across clinical disciplines including Nursing and Pharmacy. Clare is a NZ Registered Dietitian and a member of the Council of Deans of Nutrition and Dietetics, Australia and New Zealand. Clare’s main research focus is how early-life nutritional determinants shape long-term health outcomes.

Amaeze Madukah MSc RNutr PhD candidate

Amaeze is a Registered Nutritionist (RNutr) with a Masters in Clinical nutrition and is currently undertaking her PhD. She is the founder of the nutrition consultancy Life’s Recipe and co-founder of The Diverse Nutrition Association. Amaeze has a special interest in cultural nutrition and works with individuals, groups and organisations to cultivate healthy relationships with food and health equity.

Aisling Piggott RD, BSc, MSc, PhD candidate

Aisling Pigott is a Registered Dietitian (RD), Senior Lecturer in Interprofessional Education at Cardiff Metropolitan University, and a Freelance Dietitian with Dietitian Wales. Her clinical interests span paediatrics, diabetes, women’s health, and health promotion. Aisling is also a doctoral researcher at Cardiff Metropolitan University, focusing on the prevention of disordered eating in Type 1 Diabetes (T1D).
Aisling is dedicated to fostering healthy relationships with food and challenging nutritional misinformation. As an award-winning media spokesperson for the British Dietetic Association (BDA), she has been featured on BBC News, Radio Wales, and Channel 5, where she promotes sensible, evidence-based messages about food and nutrition.
Aisling advocates for a research-active healthcare system and encourages dietitians to engage in research. As the Research Officer for the Paediatric Diabetes Specialist Group, she supports members in research activities through study days, mentoring, and development opportunities.

Ines Jabir RD BSc, MPH

Ines Jabir is a specialist Registered Dietitian based in the UK, working internationally to help clients achieve their healthiest selves. With expertise in insulin resistance, fertility, maternal health, sustainable weight loss, and ARFID in children and young people, Ines tailors personalized nutrition and lifestyle plans to meet each client’s unique needs.
She adopts a compassionate, person-centred approach, providing consultations in English, Italian, and Arabic, ensuring culturally sensitive and accessible care. Ines is committed to reducing health inequalities and actively volunteers in underserved communities, promoting health and wellbeing.
Ines holds a BSc in Human Nutrition and Dietetics and is pursuing a Master in Public Health. She is trained in XPERT Diabetes, DAFNE for Type 1 Diabetes, ARFID, and fertility for healthcare professionals. She is a member of the British Dietetic Association (BDA), the Freelance Specialist Group of the BDA, and is registered with the Health Care Professions Council (HCPC).

Kristina Vavura RD

Kristina Vavura is SCOPE-certified and HCPC-Registered Dietitian with a passion for clinical dietetics and public health. She is also the Founder of Forever Young Academy which main aim is to educate the general public about the important role of healthy lifestyle.
Her experience spans acute and community settings, with special interests in weight management, diabetes (type 1, type 2, gestational), oncology, longevity, PCOS and health promotion. She is an active member of the British Dietetic Association (BDA), Parenteral Nutrition Association (PEN), European Society of Enteral and Parenteral Nutrition (ESPEN) as well as the Association for Study of Obesity (ASO) and she has obtained her SCOPE Certification from the World Obesity Foundation (obesity, cardiovascular issues and obesity, children with obesity and eating disorders in obesity management). Currently, she is continuing her education as a functional medicine practitioner with the Association of Applied Functional Medicine in the US.
She obtained her Master’s Degree in Nutrition and Dietetics at Robert Gordon University, Scotland, where she gained practical experience as a Dietetic Intern in NHS Tayside. My internship included consulting on parenteral and enteral nutrition.
Throughout her career, she has provided personalised dietary advice to patients managing various conditions such as obesity, diabetes, cancer, malnutrition, paediatric nutrition pancreatitis, IBS, ulcerative colitis, fatty liver disease (alcoholic and non-alcoholic), food intolerances, autoimmune diseases, coeliac disease, and patients both pre- and post-operation.

Derya Hyusein RD BSc, MDiet, CertHE, DipHE

Derya Hyusein is a Registered Dietitian with a profound passion for Clinical Dietetics and a dedication to educating both healthcare professionals and the general public about the vital impact of nutrition. She is also the Founder and CEO of DietitianMED.
Her experience spans acute and community settings, with special interests in weight management, diabetes (type 1, type 2, gestational), oncology, and health promotion. Derya is an active member of the British Dietetic Association (BDA) and Parenteral Nutrition Association (PEN). She pursued her Master’s Degree in Nutrition and Dietetics at Robert Gordon University in Scotland, where she gained practical experience as a Dietetic Intern across several hospitals in Glasgow, including the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital (QEUH), one of Europe’s largest hospitals.
Throughout her career, Derya has provided personalized dietary advice to patients managing various conditions such as moderate to severe obesity, diabetes, pancreatitis, IBS, ulcerative colitis, enteritis, fatty liver disease (alcoholic and non-alcoholic), food intolerances, autoimmune diseases, coeliac disease, and patients both pre- and post-operation. Her internships included consulting on parenteral and enteral nutrition for complex neurological, oncological, and surgical cases.
She has received specialized training from NUTRICIA and Abbott Laboratories in parenteral and enteral nutrition. Additionally, she completed LIBRE A5X monitoring training for diabetes patients and EETAS training for those with eating disorders. Derya has also pursued advanced training through the British Association for Parenteral and Enteral Nutrition (BAPEN).
Currently, she serves as a Health Educator and Clinical Dietetic Lead at Bodystat. In this role, Derya organizes educational teachings focused on healthy eating and health promotion. She delivers tailored educational programs to medical professionals, healthcare providers, the general public, and specific patient groups. As an experienced Registered Dietitian, she has successfully guided numerous clients and patients in improving their health through customized nutrition plans and lifestyle modifications.
Central to her practice is a patient-centered approach and a commitment to continuous professional development.

David Titman BSc, MSc, PGCE, RNutr

Derya Hyusein is a Registered Dietitian with a profound passion for Clinical Dietetics and a dedication to educating both healthcare professionals and the general public about the vital impact of nutrition. She is also the Founder and CEO of DietitianMED.
David is a Co-Founder and Director of the social enterprise RaisingNutrition that works across all areas of the food system to improve nutritional standards and raise the value that society places on nutrition. Providing a mix of challenge and support, RaisingNutrition continues to generate significant positive change in charitable, commercial and educational settings.
David is a registered nutritionist (RNutr) and food scientist with broad multinational experience in advising the food and food service industries. He takes creative, pragmatic approaches to working with organisations to develop responsible food strategies that are both commercially, socially and environmentally sustainable.
As a regular university lecturer and undergraduate research supervisor, he keeps closely up to date on the latest research in food and nutrition.
He holds a fourth-degree black belt in karate and spends much of his time away from nutrition, practising and teaching martial arts.

Priya Tew BSc, MSc, RD

Priya Tew is an award winning dietitian and nutritionist.She has a BSc degree in Nutritional Sciences and a Masters in Dietetics. Registered with the Health Professions Council and the British Dietetic Association. Priya is a specialist in eating disorders and offers intensive, expert support to clients with anorexia, bulimia, binge eating disorder and disordered eating.
She believes in working towards intuitive eating and has a non diet approach. She specializes in IBS and has received training in the low FODMAP diet, making her one of the dietitians trained in FODMAP by MONASH University. Priya is also the author of The complete low FODMAP Diet Plan.

Dr Charlotte Marriott is a consultant psychiatrist in the NHS and a certified lifestyle medicine physician. She also has a BSc in neuroscience and postgraduate qualifications in medical education and coaching and mentoring, and is currently undertaking a certificate in public mental health.

Reena Patel is an experienced, award winning Practice Nurse at Spinney Hill Medical Centre, Practice Nurse Facilitator LLR ICB, Nurse Rep for RCGP Faculty Board Leicester and Lead Nurse at Dr SKIN Leicester. She is a specialist Nurse in Diabetes and a Diabetes UK committee member. Reena won “Nurse of The Year” at the National 2017 GP Awards.

Fareeha Jay Bsc,Msc,RD

Fareeha Jay worked as a Diabetes Specialist in the NHS for 6 years, delivering educational sessions to people newly diagnosed with Type 2 Diabetes.
Fareeha has a specialist interest in South Asian diets and provides specialist advice to South Asians across the globe. She is extremely passionate about providing the best available nutrition advice to the people with South Asian background.
She has expertise in healthy eating and sustainable diets for ethnic minority groups. She is also a dietitian with a high social media profile and uses evidence-based nutrition to support communication messages to the public, again focusing on ethnic minority groups. She is regularly featured in print, broadcast, and social media. Fareeha Jay has a social media following from over 99 countries across the globe. She has built up a following of more than 700,000 over all social media platforms.
She is a guest lecturer at The Plymouth University for undergraduate year 1 and year 2 students. The lectures are mostly focused on ethnic and cultural diets and provision of culturally competent advice in the health care. Have been giving online lectures to medical students on diabetes and eating disorders in Ramadan for Nutritank. Has been delivering CPD accredited webinars to dietitians and healthcare professionals on My Nutriweb. Also she has an experience of delivering a session for pharmacists.
Fareeha has been writing blogs for My Nutriweb, Planet Nourish and Fuchsia, and is a column writer for NHD-Network Health Digest- a magazine for dietitians, nutritionists and healthcare professionals .
She has developed the “South Asian Eatwell Guide”, which is now widely being used in many NHS trusts and various charity organisations.
She recently finished her post-graduate degree in Applied Professional Practice, which involved research work, writing research proposals, report writing and critical thinking.
She is also the Chair of the Freelance committee for the British Dietetic Association which entails organising meetings, record keeping, report of progress and gathering input from the group members and committee members, drafting agendas for the meetings, planning, and then sharing them with the wider dietetic fraternity.
She has designed diabetes programmes including programmes on diabetes prevention.

Dr. Leta Pilic, MPH, RNutr

Leta completed a degree in Nutrition Science at the Faculty of Food Technology and Biotechnology, University of Zagreb, followed by a Master’s degree in Public Health at the Andrija Stampar School of Public Health, Medical School, Croatia.
After obtaining her master’s degree and working in pharmaceutical industry for two years, Leta moved to the UK and completed a PhD in Nutrition and Genetics at St Mary’s University.
She is currently a lecturer on BSc and MSc programmes in Nutrition. Leta is also a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy and a Registered Nutritionist with the Association for Nutrition.
Leta’s PhD explored the effects of genetics on blood pressure response to salt. Currently, she is exploring the interactions between genetics and diet in context of chronic disease such as heart disease or type 2 diabetes.
She is supervising number of MSc and PhD projects in the area of nutrigenetics and personalised nutrition.
She is also founder of Optimyse Nutrition, personalised nutrition company providing nutrigenetic testing for clients and education for nutrition practitioners.

Dr Kiran Sodha, MBBS MRCGP MBA, DCH, DipClinEd, DipIBLM

Dr Kiran Sodha is a GP, Lifestyle Medicine Physician and Health Coach with a Special Interest in Type 2 Diabetes Prevention & Remission. He is the Founder of Mahi Health supporting patients to reach Diabetic Remission and lowering A1C and also delivers private & NHS clinics. Dr Shahnaz Hassan

Dr Shahnaz Hassan is a general adult consultant psychiatrist with a specialist interest in adult ADHD. She is a published researcher in the field of lifestyle medicine. Her practice in psychiatry takes a lifestyle approach aiming to equip people with lifelong personal resources such as regular physical activity, to manage their mental wellbeing.
She is a qualified UK athletics coach, setting up & personally volunteering at a community based, weekly mental health support running and walking group (Run talk run & walk talk walk) and volunteers at the first NHS patient swimming group. She designed and delivers wellbeing workshops to health care staff. She lives by what she preaches and is a keen triathlete herself and encourages others to find their passions in life to help them reach their full potential.

Dr Hussain Al-Zubaidi

Dr Hussain Al-Zubaidi is a lifestyle doctor and team GB AG long distance triathlete. Movement, community, and nutrition are three cornerstones of his personal and professional life. He has a varied portfolio career across several sectors. These include being the Royal College of GPs lifestyle and physical activity lead, Leamington personalised care lead, as well as a SWIM England clinical advisor.
He runs a pioneering NHS based lifestyle clinic and fitness club helping to educate and support patients to eat better, move more and connect with their community. He has a strong focus on health span. Highlighting the lifestyle needed to prepare yourself to be the best 80-year-old. Ro Huntriss is a London-based Consultant Dietitian and Nutritionist with over 12 years of experience working in the NHS, private practice and commercial business. She holds a Master’s degree in Advanced Nutrition, and a second Master’s degree in Clinical Research. Following several years in the NHS she has worked in digital health for the past 6 years, currently working as the Chief Nutrition Officer for the global healthtech company, Palta.
Ro is a leading clinician in several areas including women’s health – being one of the UK’s leading dietitians in fertility nutrition, weight management, diabetes, gastroenterology and digital health. Ro is the author of Deliciously Healthy Fertility, and is frequently seen in mainstream media including the BBC, Forbes, Daily Mail, The Express, The Sun, HELLO! Magazine, OK! Magazine, The Mirror and Cosmopolitan. Kaitlin Colucci, RD MNutr

Kaitlin is a one of the UKs leading gut health Dietitian’s and a yoga instructor. She also holds the esteemed role of Lead Dietitian for the outpatient dietetic service at London Bridge Hospital, a distinguished private healthcare institution in the heart of London. Kaitlin’s journey commenced at the University of Nottingham, where she completed a comprehensive four-year master’s degree program in Nutrition and Dietetics.
Subsequently, she honed her expertise during her tenure at Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust, where she garnered invaluable experience across several different specialities before channeling her focus into the specialised realm of gastroenterology. In addition to her degree, Kaitlin underwent specialised training at Kings College London, becoming proficient in the delivery and instruction of the Low FODMAP diet, a skill she now applies in her dedicated work with patients in the field of gastroenterology, particularly those afflicted by intricate functional gut disorders such as IBS. Dr Rachel Gow, MSc, PhD

Rachel V. Gow, Ph.D is a Child Neuropsychologist and Neurodevelopmental specialist with expertise in Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) and associative learning and behaviour differences. In addition, she is a Registered Nutritionist (under the category of Science). Rachel holds a Visiting Lecturer position at the University of Surrey and an honourary role at The Institute of Psychiatry, King’s College London.
This study was the first randomized, double‐blind, placebo‐controlled, clinical trial globally to test the effects of omega‐3 fats in the brain activity of adults with ADHD using nuroimaging techniques. In 2012, Rachel was awarded a Ph.D in Child Neuropsychology from the Institute of Psychiatry, King’s College London.
Her PhD was conducted in the Department of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry and involved a clinical research project investigating blood measures of omega-3 fatty acids and assessments of brain function using EEG and Event Related Potentials in children/adolescents with and without ADHD. She has a Master of Science in Psychological Research Methods (Distinction) from Birkbeck University of London. Her undergraduate Psychology degree was awarded First Class with Honors from the University of Kingston, London, accredited also by the British Psychological Society.
Collectively, Dr. Rachel V. Gow has approximately 18 years of research and experience in psychological research in child/adolescent and adult clinical populations. Her research – some of it can be viewed on ResearchGate here – integrates multiple modalities including functional and structural magnetic resonance imaging, neuropsychological assessment, genetic sequencing and nutrition/biochemistry. Dr Gow has published 22 peer reviewed book chapters and scientific papers, Her first book on Nutritional Neuroscience will be published in 2020.
She has extensive knowledge in neurodiverse learning and behavioural differences and the effects of dopamine enhancing brain‐selective nutrients. She has been an active member of the International Society for the Study of Fatty Acids and Lipids (ISSFAL) since 2008 and was awarded one of their New Investigator’s Awards in 2012. She is also on the scientific advisory panel of the UK’s Food and Behaviour (FAB) Research. Rachel is also the founder of the not-for-profit Nutritious Minds Trust. Its aim is to advocate for all types of learning and behaviour differences and empower young people to reach their highest potential through psychological, educational, nutritional support and community projects focused on the Creative Arts and Music.
Nutritious Minds organises events and workshops on Nutrition, Fitness and Mental-Health and provides a motivational platform for individuals to talk about their collective experiences living with diagnostic labels as well as sharing inspiration and the tools which enabled them to overcome tumultuous obstacles in their lives.

Dr Simon Dyall, PhD

Dr Simon Dyall leads the MSc Clinical Neuroscience programme at the University of Roehampton, and is Honorary Visiting Research Fellow in the Centre for Neuroscience, Surgery and Trauma, Queen Mary University of London. He is Chair of the Scientific Advisory Board of the U.K.
Association of Milk Banking and in addition to twice being elected to the Board of Directors of the International Society for the Study of Fatty Acids and Lipids (ISSFAL), is on the Scientific Advisory Boards of the charities, Think Through Nutrition, and Food For the Brain Foundation, and is on the Editorial Board of the journal, Lipids in Health and Disease.
His research sits at the interface of neuroscience, nutrition, neurobiology and psychology (Nutritional Neuroscience). His Neuroactive Lipids Lab utilises both pre-clinical and clinical approaches to explore the role of bioactive lipids in brain health and disease across the lifespan. Current projects include exploring the role of polyunsaturated fatty acids and lipid mediators in perinatal health, and a neuroimaging study investigating the therapeutic effects of a high omega-3 fatty acid multinutrient supplement on stress and anxiety in young adults.

Toral Shah MSc Nutr Med

Toral Shah is a Nutritional Scientist (MSc Nutr Med), and functional medicine & nutrigenomics Master practitioner. She uses evidence based science and nutrition knowledge along with lifestyle medicine to help support others to optimise their health and reduce risk of disease.
Toral was first diagnosed with breast cancer at the age of 29. In 2018, she was diagnosed with a breast cancer recurrence and in 2020 for the third time, undertaking major surgery and treatment through COVID pandemic lockdown, and utilising all the tools in her toolbox to support through to recovery.
She is particularly passionate about cancer prevention and recurrence and completed her MSc thesis researching diets that reduce risk of recurrence of breast cancer She is currently putting together a PhD proposal looking at the impact of stress, diet and lifestyle on oestrogen dependent breast cancer. As a breast cancer patient and survivor, she understands how patients might want to change their diet and lifestyle post diagnosis. She is also passionate about health inequalities in cancer and is a educator, researcher and advocate in this field.

Professor Giles Yeo PhD, MBE

Giles Yeo got his PhD in molecular genetics from the University of Cambridge in 1998, after which he joined the lab of Prof Sir Stephen O’Rahilly, working on the genetics of severe human obesity. Giles Yeo is now a Professor of Molecular Neuroendocrinology and programme leader at the MRC Metabolic Diseases Unit in Cambridge and his research currently focuses on the influence of genes on feeding behaviour & body-weight.
In addition, he is a graduate tutor and fellow of Wolfson College, and Honorary President of the British Dietetic Association. Giles is also a broadcaster and author, presenting science documentaries for the BBC, and hosts a podcast called ‘Dr Giles Yeo Chews The Fat’. His first book ‘Gene Eating’ was published in December 2018, and his second book ‘Why Calories Don’t Count’ came out in June 2021. Giles was appointed an MBE in the Queen’s 2020 birthday honours for services to ‘Research, Communication and Engagement’. He won the Society for Endocrinology Medal in 2022.
